We just bought an umbrella, and I was looking for an inexpensive stand, since the stand was just going to be hidden by my patio table. This did just the trick. When I got it, it appeared to be a bit banged up from the shipping, so DC America may want to used more padding/packaging when shipping this, but otherwise it was simple to put together and has been holding up my umbrella just fine.

The base itself is fine, but the pole extending up to hold the umbrella in place is just okay. The umbrella doesn't stand exactly perpendicular and the pole is made of plastic. Not very sturdy.
