The Acme Siren Whistle ordered THREE TIMES and received & returned to Amazon THREE TIMES was not the item pictured. The whistle pictured was ALL metal and those received had a plastic neck (as per item being reviewed) and not the ALL METAL whistle I ordered and paid for. Upon my money being returned, I plan to contact the Acme Co. to order the proper whistle. I will also advise Acme that Amazon.com, as well as their provider companies, are doing an inferior job of representing Acme. Disappointedly, William M. Ray

This is just a fun little whistle.
It's not a loud alert whistle like some people seem to think.
If you're stuck in the middle of the ocean you'll run out of breath before any passing ships hear this thing.
It's more of a sound effect whistle like for cartoons (you've all heard it before).
I have heard that people will use them on they're bikes though, sounds like a fun idea.

So... I'm on day four taking the Adult All in One Gummies and I'm stoked Smarty Pants decided to produce vitamins for adults. The only issue I see thus far is that I'm going to need more than one bottle for my house per month because anyone who tries them wants to eat them like candy.

I was searching for a multivitamin for my son with the Omega 3's and all the good stuff in a gummy form and I stumbled across the SmartyPants Vitamin Treat. I saw the good reviews and ordered them for my son. He was almost 20 mo. when he first started taking these vitamins. I was worried about how receptive he would be to eating them, but those concerns went away on the first day. He loves them! I give him 2 in the morning after breakfast and 1 in the evening after dinner. He'd eat them all day if he could. In the beginning I told him it's candy and now he's always calling out for his "nandy" anytime he sees the bottle.

Probably just coincidence, but right around the time he started taking these vitamins his speech and flashcard recognition improved and his ability to mimic the words i say improved as well. He's not talking like a 5 year old, but where he was 3 months prior to where he is now is night and day. AGAIN I'm not saying these vitamins made him smarter and his speech and vocab. would've improved anyway, but who knows? Maybe they helped a little.

I just ordered my second bottle and I would recommend this product to any parent out there looking for a kid friendly multivitamin.

We own a ton of Lodge cast iron. Literally, I think. So I was a little leery of trying another brand. But this Cajun Cookware pot was every bit the match for Lodge, which has no saucepots. Great finish, nice design. Finally, we can toss those expensive Calaphalon pots. The only disadvantage of cast iron is the weight, in every other respect (cooking performance, non-stick, cleanup, durability) cast iron beats everything else, including our unbelievably expensive Calphalon pots which are worn out after only four years of use.

I use cast iron pots extensively, and wanted one in this particular size. It is as advertised, but it isn't great. The finish is poor - very rough surface, a lot of extra flash from the molding process, end edges are very rough from the coarse grinding cleanup they did at the factory. There are places where it is obvious the mold halves did not line up properly when they cast it - in the handle especially. The iron is a bit thin as well. The cover does not fit nicely - it rocks a bit and is a bit misshapen.

I spent about 1/2 an hour smoothing off the edges and cleaning it up with a file and a sander, then re-seasoned it. It's better now, but still doesn't give pleasure in use.

Compared to Lodge cookware, this is poor. I'd stick with Lodge except they don't offer this particular item.

I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance and order the Cajun Cookware 3 quart and 1 1/2quart cast iron sauce pots anyway. I received them in what seemed like record time. Contrary to other reviews, my pots were well made, the lids fit perfectly well (they shouldn't be air tight on cast iron anyway), and the pots were finished like cast iron should be. The construction was sound, even, and cast iron smooth. Folks, cast iron isn't like the pressed aluminum pots and pans from Walmart. Cast iron is porous. It isn't smooth and will naturally have tiny pits in the surface. The black, glassy, smooth surface comes after years of use and PROPER care. These pots were no different than high dollar name brand cast iron, made just as well, and half the price. After a good scrub in hot water to remove the packing wax, I planned to spend an evening seasoning them. One seasoning was all it took to turn them glossy black and smooth as Uncle Rico's hair oil. I was a bit surprised how well they took seasoning. I started using them after they cooled and sat overnight and they performed like they'd been used and seasoned for years. They looked too nice to hide in a cupboard, so they sit on the counter top beside the stove. I couldn't be happier. The less than positive reviews were obviously from purchasers that had no experience with cast iron and don't understand how to use and care for it. The Cajun Cookware cast iron pots are well made, inexpensive, and perform excellent on the stove top at home and even better at a campsite.
